CALL FOR PROPOSALS EACEA/10/2020: EUROPEAN YOUTH TOGETHER
CALL FOR PROPOSALS EACEA/10/2020
Erasmus + Program, Key Action 3 – Support for policy reform
EUROPEAN YOUTH TOGETHER
OBJECTIVES
The objective of the “United European Youth” actions should be based on the experience gained through the “New Narrative for Europe” project (3), the objectives of European youth (4) and the Eurobarometer conclusions on the priorities of the youth (5) and other youth policy and program initiatives, including projects selected under this action in 2018 and 2019, with the aim of promoting youth participation in European civic life, as well as cross-border exchanges and mobility activities. Its measures should particularly address the obstacles related to the inclusive participation of all young people, regardless of their origin or situation, that arose in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The initiative aims to specifically support:
- promoting and developing more structured cooperation, online and offline, between different youth organizations to create or strengthen partnerships focused on solidarity and inclusive democratic participation by all, against the backdrop of repercussions on structures socioeconomic and in line with the objectives of youth numbers 3, 4 and 10;
- youth organizations participating in initiatives to encourage young people to participate in the democratic process and in society by organizing training courses, show common ground among young Europeans and encourage debate and discussion about their connection to European Union, its values and its democratic foundations, including giving a significant voice to young people in the framework of the Covid-19 recovery process;
- promoting the participation of underrepresented youth groups in politics, youth organizations and other civil society organizations, involving vulnerable and socio-economically disadvantaged youth; new ways of empowering youth organizations to cope with the Covid-19 crisis and its aftermath, supporting innovative forms of cooperation and network creation, development and management. As an indication, this could include increasing collaboration between youth organizations in a digital context through and through non-formal learning and organizational models that include alternative modes of exchanges and mutual aid.
