Erasmus+ Youth Exchange
Think Green, Click Smart, Act Digital is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project focused on sustainability, green skills, digital innovation, and youth participation. The initiative brings together young people from Poland, Greece, Lithuania, Spain, and Romania to reflect on today’s environmental challenges and explore how digital tools can help create positive change.
The project responds to an urgent reality: the world is facing an environmental crisis marked by climate change, pollution, and the overuse of natural resources. At the same time, digitalisation is transforming society and creating new opportunities to raise awareness, communicate, and take action for sustainability.
Think Green, Click Smart, Act Digital connects these two dimensions: environmental responsibility and digital innovation. Through participatory activities and non-formal education methodologies, the project aims to help young people acquire practical tools to act more sustainably in their daily lives, their communities, and their future professional environments.
Project objectives
The main objective of Think Green, Click Smart, Act Digital is to empower young Europeans with green skills and digital tools that allow them to promote sustainability in an active, creative, and collaborative way.
The project aims to increase awareness of simple and practical sustainable actions, helping participants integrate more responsible habits into their everyday lives.
It also seeks to enhance digital literacy for environmental action, using tools such as social media, gamification, and online platforms to raise awareness, communicate sustainable messages, and promote impactful initiatives.
Another key objective is to encourage youth collaboration around sustainability. Participants will work together to share good practices, create solutions, and develop ideas that can later be transferred to their local communities.
The project also promotes cultural exchange, active citizenship, and knowledge of Erasmus+ and other European educational opportunities, strengthening youth participation and international cooperation.
How is Think Green, Click Smart, Act Digital implemented?
Think Green, Click Smart, Act Digital is implemented through non-formal education activities, group dynamics, intercultural learning, collaborative work, and practical experiences linked to sustainability and the responsible use of digital tools.
During the international mobility in Osówek, Poland, participants will work on topics such as practical sustainability, climate change, environmental action, digital communication, awareness campaigns, gamification, youth leadership, and community participation.
The project also includes an eco-friendly approach, encouraging small sustainable actions during the activities. These include a reusable mug exchange activity to reduce the use of disposable cups, as well as recommendations to choose more environmentally responsible travel options whenever possible.
After the international experience, participants will also play an active role in disseminating the project through online and offline activities, with the aim of sharing the knowledge gained and multiplying the impact in their local communities.
Participants and organisations
Think Green, Click Smart, Act Digital involves 35 participants from Poland, Greece, Lithuania, Spain, and Romania. Each country will be represented by young people and one group leader, with participants mainly aged between 18 and 30.
The participating organisations are:

The project creates an international space where young people from different backgrounds can share perspectives, learn from diverse realities, and collaborate around a common goal: moving towards a more sustainable and digitally connected future.
Expected results
Think Green, Click Smart, Act Digital aims to strengthen participants’ environmental, digital, and social competences. Through the project, young people will learn practical ways to respond to environmental challenges, improve their ability to communicate sustainable messages, and develop initiatives that connect technology, creativity, and ecological responsibility.
The main expected results include increased environmental awareness, improved digital competences for climate action, the development of youth leadership skills, and the creation of awareness-raising proposals that can be shared after the exchange.
The project will also generate online and offline dissemination actions. Each participant will have the opportunity to share their experience and organise a local activity, such as a workshop, presentation, social media campaign, or another creative action to spread the project results and keep its impact alive.
Impact
Think Green, Click Smart, Act Digital contributes to shaping young people who are more aware, active, and prepared to face environmental challenges from an innovative and participatory perspective.
The project not only promotes sustainable habits, but also shows how digital tools can become allies for raising awareness, mobilising communities, and generating real change.
Through international cooperation, peer learning, and active participation, Think Green, Click Smart, Act Digital supports a generation of young people more committed to the environment, digital citizenship, and the construction of a greener, smarter, and more connected future.
