Instituto iKigai & Zaragoza Joven Launch “Hogar in Progress”
Instituto iKigai, in close collaboration with Zaragoza Joven, announces the official launch of the new training cycle “Hogar in Progress.” This program, aimed at young people between 16 and 30 years old, is designed to provide the essential tools to navigate the rental market in Zaragoza with complete safety and awareness.
During the four practical and interactive sessions, participants will analyze in detail the challenges of the current real estate market. The program will offer concrete resources for safe housing searches, teaching how to recognize red flags to avoid real estate fraud. A central aspect will be dedicated to the analysis of rental agreements, learning to identify abusive clauses and understand key regulations such as the Urban Leases Act (LAU) and Law 12/2023.
The sessions will also allow for the exchange of ideas on the financial management of renting. Young people will learn to plan a realistic budget, calculate initial expenses such as the deposit, and properly manage household utilities and related costs. The goal is to ensure an accessible and practical learning experience, providing checklists and step-by-step guides to use before signing any agreement.
The training cycle will take place according to the following schedule:
- November 18, 2026 (18:30 – 20:30): Alquila like a pro – Safe search and home rental.
- November 25, 2026 (18:30 – 20:30): Alquila like a pro – Rental agreements.
- December 15, 2026 (18:30 – 20:30): Finanzas sin drama – Financial planning and renting.
- December 16, 2026 (18:30 – 20:30): Finanzas sin drama – Utilities, expenses, and potential fraud.
At Instituto iKigai, we are thrilled to promote this project alongside Zaragoza Joven, offering days of collaboration and the exchange of practical tools to support youth emancipation. The “Hogar in Progress” program strives to bring new learning opportunities to young people, preparing them to navigate the real estate world like true professionals while fully protecting their rights. We invite anyone interested to register to secure a spot.
