We participated in the third transnational meeting of the European project ACTIVEAID, held in Dublin. This meeting brought together the European partners of the consortium to advance the development of tools and strategies aimed at the social and labor inclusion of transgender and intersex people.
What is ACTIVEAID?
ACTIVEAID is a European project focused on promoting more inclusive, diverse, and safe work environments for the transgender and intersex community. Its main objective is to contribute to the elimination of structural, social, and cultural barriers that hinder these individuals’ access to and retention in employment.
Through collaborative work between organizations from different European Union countries, the project seeks to:
- Develop training tools for professionals and companies
- Raise awareness about gender diversity in the workplace
- Promote inclusive organizational policies
- Create support networks at the European level
A key meeting to advance inclusion
During the meeting held in Dublin, we shared the work carried out in recent months and coordinated the next steps of the project with the rest of our European partners. These transnational meetings allow us to share best practices, strengthen cooperation, and ensure the quality of the results.
As shown in the video we shared on our social media:
“At these meetings, all the European partners come together to share all the work we have been doing over the last few months.”
The active participation of Lety and Alberto highlighted the human dimension of the project, emphasizing the importance of mutual support and the creation of safe spaces:
“It is extremely important not to feel alone and to support each other.”
