Instituto Ikigai is starting its participation in Youth for Well-Being, a new project approved under the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange programme, with the code 2025-3-PL01-KA152-YOU.
The project focuses on mental health, emotional well-being, self-care and mutual support among young Europeans. The initiative brings together young people from Poland, Spain, Italy and Hungary with the aim of creating safe spaces where they can talk about well-being, share experiences and learn practical tools to take care of their mental health.
Youth for Well-Being responds to an increasingly visible reality among young people: stress, social pressure, low self-esteem, emotional difficulties and the impact of digital habits on daily life. Through participatory activities and non-formal education methodologies, the project aims to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and convey a clear message: asking for help is not a weakness, but a strength.
Throughout the project, participants will work on topics such as self-esteem, resilience, digital well-being, mindfulness, sport, creative expression and peer support. One of the main outcomes will be the creation of an international well-being toolkit, designed by the young participants themselves, with resources and ideas that can later be shared in their communities, educational centres and local organisations.
The project will involve Fundacja Youth in Motion from Poland, Instituto Ikigai from Spain, River APS from Italy and Student Forum from Hungary. It will also pay special attention to the inclusion of young people from rural areas and young people in NEET situations, ensuring that people with fewer opportunities are actively involved in the experience.
At Instituto Ikigai, we are beginning work on this initiative with the commitment to continue promoting European projects that support youth participation, inclusion, emotional well-being and the personal development of young people.
